AWS Transfer Family has expanded its SFTP connectors to support VPC-based connectivity, enabling more secure and flexible file transfer capabilities.
- Enables file transfers between Amazon S3 and SFTP servers through Amazon VPC
- Supports connections to privately hosted or on-premises SFTP servers
- Leverages existing VPC security controls and network configurations
- Allows use of NAT Gateway bandwidth for improved transfer performance
- Compatible with IP controls and firewall requirements
- Routes connections through VPC networking and security controls
This feature enhances data security and transfer efficiency by integrating SFTP connections directly into existing VPC infrastructure.
