Amazon CloudWatch Agent now supports configurable Windows Event Log Filters, allowing more precise log collection and management for Windows hosts on EC2 and on-premises environments.
- Enables selective collection of system and application events
- Supports filtering by event levels, event IDs, and regular expressions
- Allows "include" or "exclude" event filtering criteria
- Helps manage log ingestion by processing only needed events
- Available in all commercial AWS Regions and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions
