News

AWS Transfer Family has introduced a new feature that allows users to change the identity provider (IdP) type on a server without service interruption.

  • Supports dynamic switching between service-managed authentication, Active Directory, and custom IdP configurations
  • Applicable to SFTP, FTPS, and FTP servers
  • Enables zero-downtime authentication migration
  • Provides greater flexibility in managing authentication workflows
  • Available in all AWS Regions where Transfer Family is supported
