AWS Config has launched 42 new managed rules to help organizations improve their cloud governance across various AWS services.
- New rules cover security, cost, durability, and operational aspects
- Can be enabled across single accounts or entire organizations
- Rules help evaluate:
- Tagging strategies
- Security postures
- Configuration best practices
- New rules span services like Amazon EKS, EC2, Cognito, Amplify, and more
- Can be grouped using Conformance Packs for easier deployment
These additional managed rules provide more comprehensive configuration monitoring and compliance checking for AWS environments.
