AWS renews the GSMA SAS-SM certification for two AWS Regions and expands to cover four new Regions

This article announces AWS's expansion of GSMA Security Accreditation Scheme for Subscription Management (SAS-SM) certification to four new AWS Regions and renewal of existing certifications.
- Four new AWS Regions certified: US West (Oregon), Europe (Frankfurt), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Singapore)
- Two existing Regions recertified: US East (Ohio) and Europe (Paris)
- All certifications valid through October 2026 under GSMA Data Centre Operations and Management scope
- Enables ISVs to build GSMA-compliant eSIM and subscription management services on AWS
- Customers can now build geo-redundant eSIM solutions with two certified Regions per geography
- Over 400 telecom operators worldwide support eSIM services for subscribers
AWS's expanded GSMA certification coverage strengthens its position for telecom customers building cloud-based eSIM and subscription management platforms globally.
