Amazon CloudWatch RUM now supports an improved App Monitors overview with health, SLO, and tracing status
News
This article announces an improved App Monitors overview for Amazon CloudWatch RUM, enabling DevOps and SRE teams to monitor fleet-wide health, SLO status, and tracing coverage from a single dashboard.
- Four summary cards display health status, trending monitors, setup coverage, and SLO/alarm information
- Quick filters enable focusing on specific monitors by platform, health, SLI status, and tracing state
- Each monitor row shows session volume, health status, primary issues, trends, and X-Ray trace links
- Side panel provides correlated sessions, SLO details, and alarm information for troubleshooting
- Available in all AWS commercial regions at no additional cost
The improved overview eliminates the need to click into individual monitors, streamlining observability management across application fleets.
