This article announces that Amazon MQ for RabbitMQ now supports Prometheus metrics on RabbitMQ 4.2 brokers.
- Native Prometheus-compatible metrics endpoint available on RabbitMQ brokers
- Scrape broker, queue, and connection metrics directly from brokers
- Metrics exposed through /metrics, /metrics/detailed, and /metrics/memory-breakdown endpoints
- Subset of Prometheus metrics published to CloudWatch
- Integration with Grafana, Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus, and self-hosted servers
- Prometheus plugin enabled by default on all RabbitMQ 4.2 brokers across AWS regions
Amazon MQ for RabbitMQ now provides native Prometheus monitoring support, enabling seamless integration with existing Prometheus-based monitoring stacks.
