This article announces increased quotas for AWS Organizations service control policies (SCPs).
- Maximum SCPs per node increased from 5 to 10
- Maximum SCP size increased from 5,120 to 10,240 characters
- Enables finer-grained permissions and more comprehensive security controls
- Available in all commercial AWS Regions, GovCloud, and China Regions
- Automatic for all organizations with no action required
AWS Organizations now supports higher SCP quotas, allowing organizations to implement more granular and comprehensive security policies across their infrastructure.
