AWS IAM Identity Center now supports separate quotas for AWS accounts and applications, enabling independent scaling without capacity conflicts.
- Default quota of 7,000 AWS accounts and 7,000 applications independently
- Using more of one resource does not consume capacity from the other
- Quotas can be increased via AWS Service Quotas console
- Existing customers with higher limits automatically granted same limit for both
- Available in all AWS Regions where IAM Identity Center is supported
Organizations managing thousands of AWS accounts can now onboard applications without impacting account quota capacity.
