Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory now supports cross-account access

News

This article announces cross-account access support for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory, enabling multi-account architectures where memory resources and agents span multiple AWS accounts.

  • Grant principals in one account permission to call memory data plane APIs against resources in another account using resource-based policies
  • Configure memory delivery destinations (S3, SNS, Kinesis Data Streams) in separate accounts
  • Principals in consuming accounts can create events, write records, retrieve records, and perform semantic search
  • Cross-account delivery destinations allow payloads and stream events to resources in other accounts
  • Available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory is supported

Cross-account access simplifies multi-account deployments by enabling secure memory resource sharing across AWS accounts.
