AWS GovCloud (US) now offers US-based, US citizen 24/7 technical support for all customers by default

News

AWS GovCloud (US) now routes all technical support cases to US-based, US-citizen cloud support engineers by default, with no opt-in required.

  • Support engineers are full-time AWS employees who are US citizens working on US soil
  • Engineers trained to maintain ITAR compliance and AWS GovCloud (US) requirements
  • 24/7 support available across both GovCloud (US-East) and GovCloud (US-West) regions
  • Support engineers have direct access to regulated customer environments for faster issue resolution
  • Multiple support channels: AWS Console, API access, click-to-call, and live chat

This enhancement ensures GovCloud customers receive compliant, responsive technical support from qualified US-based personnel.
