AWS announces significant availability changes to multiple services and features, effective June 30, 2026 and beyond.
- 12+ services moving to maintenance mode; new customers cannot access starting July 30, 2026
- Services affected include Amazon Bedrock Agents Classic, Cognito Sync, Kendra, Q Business, and Directory Service Simple AD
- Multiple Amazon SageMaker AI features entering maintenance: A2I, Clarify, Debugger, GeoSpatial, Ground Truth, Model Monitor, Profiler, Role Manager, Studio Lab
- Services entering sunset with end-of-support dates: WorkSpaces PCoIP and Pool, AMS Advanced, re:Post Private
- Three services reached end-of-support as of June 30: Chime SDK Carrier Voice Focus, SageMaker Ground Truth Plus, Elemental MediaLive/MediaPackage ADC Regions
- AWS provides migration guides and support team assistance for affected customers
Customers using affected services should review documentation and plan migrations to alternative solutions.
