Amazon Bedrock AgentCore increases default runtime quota limits

This article announces increased default runtime quota limits for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, enabling customers to scale agent-based workloads with greater capacity.
- Up to 5,000 active concurrent sessions in US East (N. Virginia) and US West (Oregon)
- 2,500 concurrent sessions in all other supported Regions
- 200 agent interactions per second across all Regions
- 25 new sessions created per second globally
- Enables running more AI agents simultaneously with high-throughput workloads
The increased quotas allow developers to build and optimize AI agents on AgentCore with improved scalability out of the box.
