AWS announces general availability of AWS Interconnect for multicloud connectivity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, enabling simplified private connections across cloud providers.
- First purpose-built product for interconnecting workloads across multiple cloud providers
- Allows customers to quickly provision resilient, scalable private connections to OCI and Google Cloud
- Eliminates complexity of building and managing global multi-layered networks at scale
- Available in us-east-1 (N. Virginia) AWS Region
- Provisioning available via AWS Management Console, CLI, or API
- Microsoft Azure support launching later in 2026
