Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio brings richer Git version control to all project tools
News
Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio now provides full Git version control directly within Query Editor, Visual ETL, Workflows, and Notebooks, replacing automatic sync with flexible file-level version control.
- Choose which files to track in Git by adding them to repositories on GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
- Commit and push all changes in a single action without enforced project-level source control
- Add repositories to projects at any time after creation, decoupled from project setup
- Connect to multiple repositories and branches simultaneously with built-in conflict resolution
- Retain full Git CLI access through terminal in JupyterLab and Code Editor
- Available in all AWS Regions supporting SageMaker Unified Studio for IAM and IAM Identity Center domains
This enhancement brings consistent source control across all project tools, including Notebooks which previously lacked Git support.
