AWS Deadline Cloud now surfaces costs related to Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) persistent volumes in the Usage Explorer within the Deadline Cloud Monitor app.
- Tracks EBS volume costs from creation until deletion, independent of jobs or sessions
- Persistent volume costs appear as a new usage type in Usage Explorer and statistics APIs
- Costs attributed to fleets, enabling aggregation by fleet, farm, or time period
- Helps identify idle volumes and optimize time-to-live settings
- Cost tracking enabled automatically with no additional charges
- Available in all AWS Regions where Deadline Cloud is offered
This enhancement enables Deadline Cloud customers to gain complete visibility into storage costs alongside existing compute and license cost tracking.
