AWS IAM now supports 20 managed policies per role by default

AWS IAM has increased the default quota for managed policies per role from 10 to 20.
- Reduces need for Service Quota requests when following IAM best practices
- Supports separation of permissions into purpose-specific policies
- Facilitates onboarding to AWS Partner products requiring multiple managed policies
- Additional quota increases available up to 25 via Service Quotas
- Automatically applied to all IAM roles across all commercial AWS Regions, GovCloud, and China Regions
This change simplifies IAM policy management by providing more flexibility without requiring manual quota adjustments.
