AWS IAM now provides role manager to set up IAM roles automatically

AWS announces general availability of IAM role manager, which automatically creates and manages IAM roles for AWS services during console setup.

• Automatically creates default IAM roles or reuses existing ones matching required permissions
• Supports 6 AWS service consoles at launch, including Lambda and EventBridge
• Roles appear as standard IAM roles in the console that you fully control
• Can be enabled, disabled, or inspected at any time
• Use IAM Access Analyzer to refine permissions after role creation
• Available in all AWS Regions except GovCloud and China

Role manager simplifies IAM role setup by providing secure defaults while maintaining full control and flexibility for permission refinement.
