AWS Security Agent (now part of AWS Continuum) now supports budget controls and finding revalidation
News
AWS Security Agent (now part of AWS Continuum) adds budget controls and finding revalidation to its on-demand penetration testing service.
- Set maximum task-hours limits on penetration tests with preset or custom values
- Tests stop gracefully when limits are reached, preserving all findings discovered
- Billing reflects only actual task hours consumed, so higher limits don't increase costs unnecessarily
- Revalidate individual findings after deploying fixes without re-running full penetration tests
- Findings return clear Active or Resolved status with full revalidation history
These capabilities help security teams control testing costs and efficiently confirm vulnerability remediation.
