AWS Agent Registry for centralized agent discovery and governance is now generally available

AWS Agent Registry is now generally available, providing a private, governed catalog for centralized discovery and management of agents, tools, skills, MCP servers, and custom resources across organizations.

• Accessible via AWS Agent Registry console, AWS CLI, AWS SDK, and integrated with Bedrock AgentCore, Amazon Quick, and Kiro IDE
• Semantic and keyword search with dedicated browse experience for exploring registries and records
• Provision and manage registries as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK
• Auto-detect agents on AgentCore runtime and gateways to keep records current without manual authoring
• Share registries across accounts using AWS RAM for organization-wide governance
• Apply tags for organization, cost allocation, and access control
• Available in five AWS Regions: US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Europe (Ireland), and US East (N. Virginia)
