Amazon ECS now provides a consolidated deployment view for Managed Daemons, offering a single place to monitor deployment progress, failures, and potential blockers.
- Lifecycle timeline with timestamps shows deployment duration and rollback paths
- Progress bars track instances completed, in progress, remaining, draining, and being replaced per capacity provider
- Monitoring panel displays deployment circuit breaker, alarms, and container health check states with CloudWatch details
- Failed daemon tasks show stop reasons with links to task logs and troubleshooting guides
- View displays target and source revisions with instance counts, drain percentage, and bake time
- Available as console-only feature in all AWS Commercial Regions at no additional cost
This enhancement eliminates the need to gather deployment status from multiple sources, enabling faster issue resolution.
