AWS PrivateLink announces Tunnel Endpoints, a new VPC endpoint type that enables private and secure access to network segments across VPCs and accounts.
- Create Resource Configurations representing CIDR ranges and share via AWS Resource Access Manager
- Vendors can create tunnel endpoints to access shared network segments using GENEVE encapsulation
- Eliminates need to configure resources individually for cross-account/VPC sharing
- Hourly charges for tunnel endpoints plus per-GB data processing fees
