AWS IAM Identity Center now supports network access controls for Identity Store

News

AWS IAM Identity Center now supports network access controls for Identity Store, enabling restrictions on API access based on network origin.

  • Restrict Identity Store API and SCIM API access by VPC endpoints, source VPCs, or IP ranges
  • Apply different restrictions to each API independently within the same configuration
  • Network access controls are optional and disabled by default
  • AWS service requests on your behalf are automatically exempt
  • Configure via Identity Store API using AWS SDKs and AWS CLI
  • Available in all AWS Regions where IAM Identity Center is offered

Organizations can now enforce granular network-based access policies for their identity management infrastructure.
