AWS Certificate Manager now supports ACME certificate issuance through AWS PrivateLink, enabling secure public TLS certificate requests over private network paths.
- Request and renew public TLS certificates over private network paths within AWS
- Create VPC interface endpoints to ACM ACME service with no ACME client changes required
- Private DNS automatically resolves ACME directory URLs to interface endpoints
- All issuance operations flow through PrivateLink with full CloudTrail and CloudWatch visibility
- Available in all commercial AWS Regions with standard PrivateLink pricing
This enhancement simplifies secure certificate management by maintaining existing ACME configurations while routing traffic privately through AWS infrastructure.
