AWS Certificate Manager supports AWS PrivateLink

News

AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) now supports AWS PrivateLink, enabling users to access ACM APIs from their Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) without using the public internet.

  • Allows secure, internal network communication for ACM services
  • Helps meet compliance requirements by keeping API access within AWS network
  • Supports creating interface endpoints to connect VPC to ACM
  • Available in all AWS Regions, including GovCloud and China Regions
  • Can be configured via AWS Management Console, CLI, or CloudFormation

This enhancement provides a more secure pathway for managing public and private TLS certificates within the AWS ecosystem.
