Amazon CloudFront now provides viewer ISP and post-quantum TLS details
News
Amazon CloudFront now provides two new optional headers that can be forwarded to your origin for enhanced traffic visibility and security monitoring.
- CloudFront-Viewer-ISP header reveals the viewer's internet service provider name
- CloudFront-Viewer-TLS-Details header describes cryptography used on TLS connections
- Break down traffic and performance metrics by network provider
- Measure post-quantum cryptography adoption among viewers
- Identify unusual traffic patterns from specific providers
- Enable headers through origin request policies attached to distributions
These headers enable better traffic analysis, security monitoring, and visibility into post-quantum cryptography adoption across your viewer base.
