Amazon RDS for SQL Server supports Developer Edition in additional AWS regions

This article announces the expansion of Amazon RDS for SQL Server Developer Edition to 13 additional AWS regions.
- Developer Edition now available in Asia Pacific (Hong Kong, Taipei, Hyderabad, Jakarta, Malaysia, Melbourne, New Zealand, Thailand)
- Also available in Canada West (Calgary), Europe (Milan, Spain), Israel (Tel Aviv), and Mexico (Central)
- Developer Edition includes all Enterprise Edition functionality at no license cost
- Enables development and testing closer to data and end users with reduced latency
The expanded regional availability simplifies development workflows by allowing developers to build and test applications in regions nearer to their target markets.
