AWS Brazil automates distribution of non-Brazilian software product licenses to Brazilian customers

News

AWS Brazil launches an automated 2P distribution program enabling non-Brazilian ISVs to distribute SaaS licenses to Brazilian customers with localized invoicing and tax handling.

  • AWS Brazil acts as seller of record, acquiring distribution rights and invoicing customers in Brazilian Reais
  • Automated workflows handle distribution authorizations, disbursements, tax calculation, and seller reporting
  • ISVs grant distribution rights via AWS Partner Central or public APIs and track transactions through Seller Insights
  • Brazilian buyers receive private offers priced in USD, invoiced in BRL using invoice-date exchange rates
  • Buyers can pay by credit card or Pay by Invoice with purchase order support

The program simplifies SaaS distribution to Brazil for international ISVs while providing local payment and tax compliance for Brazilian customers.
