News

Amazon CloudFront now supports AWS Service Quotas, allowing self-service management of 28 CloudFront quotas through the Service Quotas console or API.

  • View, monitor, and request increases for CloudFront quotas without opening support cases
  • Automatic approval for limit increases within published thresholds with AWS Business Support or higher
  • Examples: raise distributions from 500 to 1,000 or alternate domain names per distribution from 100 to 500
  • Usage metrics published to CloudWatch every 5 minutes for proactive monitoring and alarms
  • Available in all AWS Regions where CloudFront is supported

Streamlines quota management for CloudFront users by eliminating manual support case processes and enabling proactive resource planning.
