AWS Transfer Family has introduced built-in PGP decryption support for file uploads across SFTP, FTPS, and FTP protocols to Amazon S3 or Amazon EFS.
- Enables automatic decryption of files encrypted with PGP keys before upload
- Supports managed workflows for post-upload file processing
- Configurable PGP decryption tasks without writing custom code
- Uses AWS Secrets Manager to manage decryption keys
- Allows single or user-specific PGP key configurations
- Provides monitoring and auditing via Amazon CloudWatch logs
- Available in all AWS Regions where Transfer Family is supported
