AWS WAF supports larger request body inspections for Amazon CloudFront distributions

AWS WAF has expanded its request body inspection capabilities for Amazon CloudFront distributions:
- Increased maximum request body inspection from 8KB to 64KB for CloudFront distributions
- Default request body inspection size increased from 8KB to 16KB
- Changes apply to all new and existing WAF web access control lists at no additional cost
- Users can still choose to allow, block, or count requests that exceed defined inspection limits
- Enables more comprehensive monitoring of HTTP/S requests for web application threats
This update provides enhanced threat detection and protection for web applications by allowing deeper inspection of request payloads.
