Announcing Region Expansion of P4d instances on SageMaker Studio notebooks

This article announces the general availability of Amazon EC2 P4d instances on SageMaker Studio notebooks in several new AWS regions: Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Canada (Central), and South America (São Paulo).

• P4d instances are powered by 8 NVIDIA A100 Tensor Core GPUs and 2nd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, providing high performance for machine learning workloads.

• Instructions are provided for setting up and using JupyterLab and CodeEditor applications on SageMaker Studio with the new P4d instances.
