This article announces the general availability of Amazon EC2 P4de instances in additional regions on SageMaker Studio notebooks.
- P4de instances now available in Asia Pacific (Tokyo, Singapore) and Europe (Frankfurt)
- Powered by 8 NVIDIA A100 GPUs with 80GB HBM2e memory each
- Total 640GB GPU memory across all GPUs
- Up to 60% better ML training performance versus P4d instances
- 20% lower training costs compared to P4d instances
- Supports large datasets and high-resolution data workloads
P4de instances expand SageMaker Studio's GPU capabilities globally, enabling faster model training and reduced costs for machine learning workloads.
