Amazon has launched Amazon Connect Email, a new service to help businesses manage customer service emails more effectively.

  • Enables receiving and responding to customer emails from business addresses and web forms
  • Provides capabilities to auto-respond, prioritize, and route emails
  • Allows creating and updating customer cases
  • Integrates seamlessly with Amazon Connect outbound campaigns
  • Uses the same configuration and analytics as other Amazon Connect channels
  • Can be configured with Amazon-provided or custom email domains

The service is available in multiple regions globally and aims to improve customer satisfaction and agent productivity through streamlined email management.
