AWS has introduced a new integration between AWS Application Discovery Service (ADS) and AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), streamlining the migration process for on-premises workloads.
- Enables one-click export of on-premises server configuration, tags, and application groupings
- Provides Amazon EC2 instance recommendations directly compatible with MGN
- Removes the need for workload rediscovery during migration
- Offers a no-cost capability across all AWS Regions where ADS is available
- Simplifies migration planning and execution for enterprise customers
This integration enhances the migration workflow by creating a seamless transfer of discovered infrastructure data from planning to migration execution.
