Configuring your AWS Invoices using Invoice Configuration

AWS announced Invoice Configuration, a new feature that allows businesses to customize their AWS invoices across multiple accounts and business entities.

• Enables separate invoices for different business entities within the same AWS Organization
• Allows designation of specific invoice receivers for each business unit
• Helps track funding for different business entities separately
• Supports associating Purchase Orders with specific Invoice Units
• Can be managed through AWS Billing Console or programmatically via APIs

The feature solves previous challenges of manual invoice splitting and helps organizations maintain volume discounts while providing more granular invoice management.
