Amazon Connect has launched new intraday forecast dashboards within the Contact Lens feature, providing real-time insights for contact center management.

  • Forecasts update every 15 minutes with predictions for:
    • Rest-of-day contact volumes
    • Average queue answer time
    • Average handle time
    • Effective staffing
  • Enables proactive management by tracking agent utilization at queue level
  • Helps identify potential staffing imbalances before wait times are impacted
  • Available in all AWS Regions with Amazon Connect forecasting capabilities

The new dashboards provide contact center managers with real-time predictive insights to optimize staffing and improve customer service.
