Amazon Connect has launched new intraday forecast dashboards within the Contact Lens feature, providing real-time insights for contact center management.
- Forecasts update every 15 minutes with predictions for:
- Rest-of-day contact volumes
- Average queue answer time
- Average handle time
- Effective staffing
- Enables proactive management by tracking agent utilization at queue level
- Helps identify potential staffing imbalances before wait times are impacted
- Available in all AWS Regions with Amazon Connect forecasting capabilities
The new dashboards provide contact center managers with real-time predictive insights to optimize staffing and improve customer service.
