Amazon EventBridge and AWS Step Functions now support integration with private APIs using AWS PrivateLink and Amazon VPC Lattice, enabling enhanced connectivity and innovation for distributed applications.

  • Allows secure integration of legacy systems with cloud-native applications
  • Simplifies connectivity across siloed VPCs and on-premises environments
  • Eliminates need for custom networking or integration code
  • Supports event-driven architectures and workflow orchestration
  • Improves security, regulatory compliance, and development agility

The feature is now generally available across multiple global regions, accessible via AWS Management Console, CLI, and SDK.
