Amazon EventBridge announces API destinations proactive OAuth token refresh
News
Amazon EventBridge has introduced a new feature for API destinations: proactive OAuth token refresh, which helps prevent authorization delays and errors.
- Automatically requests a new OAuth token before the current one expires
- Works with public and private OAuth authorization endpoints
- Reduces potential interruptions during event routing and API invocations
- Enables seamless event routing between AWS services, SaaS applications, and other platforms
- Available at no additional cost across all supported AWS Regions
This enhancement improves reliability and smooths event routing by preemptively managing OAuth token lifecycles, minimizing potential authentication-related disruptions.
