Oracle Database@AWS is a new cloud service offering that enables customers to run Oracle Database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Exadata infrastructure within AWS data centers.
- Allows easy migration of Oracle Database workloads to AWS with minimal changes
- Provides low-latency network connections between Oracle databases and AWS services
- Maintains full-feature compatibility and performance of on-premises environments
- Offers unified purchasing, management, and support between Oracle and AWS
- Supports existing AWS commitments and Oracle license benefits, including BYOL
Currently in limited preview in US East (N. Virginia), with plans to expand to additional AWS regions in 2025. Customers can request access through AWS Marketplace.
