Oracle Database@AWS has been launched generally available in the US East (N. Virginia) and US West (Oregon) Regions, offering a joint service between AWS and Oracle.
- Provides access to Oracle Exadata Database Service and Autonomous Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure
- Offers unified experience with collaborative support, purchasing, and management
- Enables easy migration of Oracle Exadata Database workloads with minimal modifications
- Supports zero-ETL integration with Amazon Redshift for near real-time analytics
- Integrates with AWS services like IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and CloudTrail
- Planned expansion to 20 additional regions across Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific
The service allows customers to leverage Oracle databases within AWS infrastructure with enhanced connectivity, management, and analytics capabilities.
