Oracle Database@AWS has announced general availability with expanded networking capabilities, enabling customers to build enterprise applications and services more efficiently.

  • Seamless network connectivity using AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Cloud WAN, and Amazon VPC Lattice
  • Native connectivity allows publishing database backups directly to S3 buckets
  • Cross-account peering support through AWS RAM for resource isolation
  • Supports migration and running production workloads on Oracle Exadata Database Service
  • Initially available in US East (N. Virginia) and US West (Oregon) regions

The new networking features simplify hybrid network connectivity, enhance security, and provide more flexible infrastructure options for Oracle database environments.
