AWS has introduced new capabilities for securely sharing resources across VPCs and accounts using PrivateLink, VPC Lattice, EventBridge, and Step Functions. This update enables organizations to modernize their applications and integrate diverse technology stacks more efficiently.

  • Customers can now share AWS resources like EC2, ECS, and EKS services across VPC and account boundaries
  • Introduces new concepts like Resource Gateway, Resource Configuration, and Resource Owner/Consumer
  • Enables building hybrid event-driven architectures with private HTTPS services
  • Supports creating EventBridge connections and Step Functions workflows using private resources
  • Available in 21 AWS regions with existing service pricing

The new features simplify integration between applications, reduce undifferentiated heavy lifting, and provide more secure and efficient ways to connect different technology environments.
