AWS announces access to VPC resources over AWS PrivateLink

News

AWS has expanded AWS PrivateLink capabilities to allow private and secure access to VPC resources across different networks.

  • Customers can now privately access VPC resources like databases or clusters
  • Resources can be in your VPC, on-premises, or shared with other teams/partners
  • Can use AWS Resource Access Manager (AWS RAM) to share resources
  • Supports accessing single resources or multiple resources via VPC Lattice service network
  • Available in 21 AWS regions worldwide

This enhancement provides more flexible and secure connectivity options for organizations using AWS PrivateLink, enabling easier resource sharing and access across different network environments.
