Amazon Q Developer adds operational investigation capability (Preview)

Amazon Q Developer has introduced a new operational investigation capability in preview, designed to help users troubleshoot AWS environment issues more efficiently.
- Enables faster operational investigations across AWS environments
- Can be initiated manually on CloudWatch widgets or automatically on alarm triggers
- Analyzes multiple signals including CloudTrail logs, deployment info, resource configurations, and AWS Health events
- Provides CloudWatch investigation experience with collaboration features
- Offers remediation suggestions through Systems Manager Automation runbooks and documentation
- Integrates with workflows like Slack via AWS Chatbot
- Currently available at no cost in US East (N. Virginia) Region during preview
The new feature aims to streamline troubleshooting by automatically detecting anomalies, identifying potential root causes, and suggesting next steps for issue resolution.
