Amazon Connect has enhanced its admin interface to support direct deletion of queues and routing profiles from the admin website.
- Previously, queue and routing profile deletion was only possible via API
- Administrators can now remove unnecessary queues and routing profiles directly through the web interface
- Useful for removing sample queues after testing or consolidating routing profiles after team reorganization
- Deletion helps free up service quotas for resources
- Feature is available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Connect is offered
This update simplifies resource management for contact center administrators by providing a more convenient way to remove unused queues and routing profiles.
