Amazon MSK Connect now supports updating connector configurations for existing Apache Kafka Connect connectors, providing more flexibility in managing data streaming connections.
- Enables changing connector settings via a single UpdateConnector API call
- Allows modifications to source and sink destinations
- Can update processing configurations
- Supports updates through AWS Console, CLI, SDK, and CloudFormation
- Available in all AWS Regions that support Amazon MSK Connect
This feature simplifies connector management by allowing users to easily modify their Kafka Connect configurations without creating entirely new connectors.
