Amazon MSK Connect now supports restarting connectors and their tasks, enabling fast recovery for streaming data pipelines without downtime.
- Restart all connector tasks or selectively restart only failed tasks
- Eliminates need to delete and recreate connectors for recovery
- Restart connectors with no failures to recover from transient issues
- Available at no additional cost through Console, CLI, SDK, and CDK
- Supported in all AWS Regions where Amazon MSK Connect is available
This feature reduces operational overhead and enables seamless recovery for Apache Kafka Connect deployments on Amazon MSK.
