AWS IoT SiteWise now supports NULL and NaN (Not a Number) data types for industrial data sources, enhancing its data handling capabilities.

  • Ability to collect, store, and retrieve real-time or historical NULL values for all supported data types
  • Support for NaN values of double data type
  • Improves data handling for compliance reporting, observability, and analytics
  • Simplifies data set conditioning and cleaning for advanced analytics and machine learning
  • Available in all AWS Regions where AWS IoT SiteWise is supported

This update enables more comprehensive and flexible industrial data management within the AWS IoT SiteWise service.
