AWS Marketplace has expanded its self-service listing experience to include Amazon Machine Image (AMI) products with CloudFormation templates.
- Sellers can now create and manage AMI listings using a new UI workflow
- Replaces previous manual spreadsheet-based listing process
- Provides a step-by-step guided listing creation experience
- Changes are initially visible only to sellers for preview and testing
- Sellers can request public visibility through the UI after final review
The new feature can be accessed through the AWS Marketplace Management Portal or programmatically via the Marketplace Catalog API, offering sellers more flexibility and control in managing their product listings.
